Ochlockonee River State Park

A pre-Columbian Native American mound dating back possibly to the Weeden Island Period 1,500 years ago, the Ochlockonee River State Park is located where the Ochlockonee and Dead rivers intersect. Trails allow visitors to explore the park and see the diverse wildlife, including the red-cockaded woodpecker.
